Stunning vintage Art Nouveau style engraved crystal vase by Ladislav Sevcík, signed and dated 1993, Czech Republic. Vase come is presentation box with photos of the vase being made by the artist. The vase measures 9 ¾" high x 4 1/8" long x 2 1/2 wide and is in Mint to near mint condition free of nicks, fleabites or wear. The technique is described as follows: an engraving is made by translating the image in negative, the depth of engraving giving the glass object its plasticity. The play of light and shadow in the finished piece brings about the desired effect.

Artistic engraving is the most expensive glassmaking technique. A fine addition to any home or collection! All items come from a smoke free home.
