Rare Antique FRY Signed American Brilliant Cut Glass Vase ABCG

  

This listing is for an Old Vintage H. Fry American Brilliant Period Cut Glass "Flower Basket" Pattern Large 12 Tall Vase. This pattern was patented c. 1917 and it is signed "Fry" on inner top rim (photo 6).

It features engravings of 2 baskets of flowers with other flowers and leaves around the middle. Bands of alternating deep cut and fine mitered stripes around top and bottom. Notched top rim and 20 point rayed base. It glows green under a blacklight (photo 7). It is in great condition overall with no cracks, large chips, or repairs.

There is a chip to the inner top rim (photos 19 and 20; 2 views of same chip). Some other small nicks and flakes to the miter edges here and there (photos 21-24). Age appropriate shelf wear to base.

It is very big, heavy, and fragile weighing just under 6.5 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages. It measures 11 13/16" tall, 7 3/4" across top rim, and about 4 7/8 at the base.
