Romanian Ruby Cut to Clear Hand-Cut Crystal Vase. This beautiful mid-century Romanian hand-cut 24% lead crystal vase is a remarkable example of. The vase is heavy and is reminiscent of Bohemian glass artistry, in particular for its ruby red cut-to-clear cased overlay glass technique. The intricate geometric crystal hand cuts in so many varied and detailed designs is amazing: ovals, dots, crisscross, lattice-like cuts, diamond-like cuts, stylistic floral patterns, spheres, fans and stars. The bottom of the vase is finished in a starburst pattern.

Deep rich ruby red cut to clear. Very stable with a flared out bottom narrowing slightly to the top. 12" High x 5 1/4" Diameter (across the bottom) x 5 Diameter (across the top). MARKINGS: Original foil label reads: IMIL....
