Is a stellar cut-to-clear cased crystal vase in a lovely midnight BLACK. Cut into the mouth blown piece are typha, commonly known as cattails, bulrush, reedmace or punks. The body is oval not round.

The true black casing has been expertly cut away leaving fine even cattail leaves and punks. Coin dots adorn the sides. The upper edge has been kept plain and smooth and the base has been cut with a star.

This is an extraordinary piece of cased art crystal. The sides are 1/4 inch thick. This heavy full lead (24% PbO) collectable crystal vase is a vintage piece produced in southern Germany. It is in excellent condition.

There are no nicks, dings, scratches, chips nor repairs. Rim: 2 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches.

Widest part: 5 by 3 1/2 inches. Weight: 2 pounds, 12.7 ounces. Please be assured that I will pack this piece with the utmost of care in tissue paper and bubble wrap to make sure that it arrives safely in your home. And been scouring the flea markets for over 30 years. I have been mailing packages internationally for longer than that.
