The center of the under base is a 1/2 in depth'jeweled' hobstar. From the style of the hobstars and the design of the sawtooth, it is probably cut on a Dorflinger blank.
Gundy did all of their own cutting but used blanks supplied by the American companies eg: Dorflinger, Libbey, Fry, Union, etc. Or European companies eg: Baccarat, Val St Lambert etc. They polished after cutting using wooden and/or felt wheels -this makes the cuts still feel sharp but slightly gentler on the hands. During this period the American companies were already using acid baths to smooth the cuts of the designs, leaving them much sharper. The condition is immaculate with no flaws at all. It has the normal wear on the base.
Size: It is 12" tall, 5" across the top and 5 across the base. Due to weight when packed of over 6 lbs.
