A cut and engraved gladiola sunflower vase with wheat and blooming flower and star c. Always centrally placed with the tallest flower we could find. Sunflowers look like Van Gogh placed them. We only used it with eucalyptus leaves and holly berry bush for the winter.
I've seen many cut glass pieces. But none quite as memorable as this. No scratches, chips or dings. The top of the vase is wheel cut. The hobstars and flowing wheat design and 16 stems on the bottom are unique beyond compare.
I will truly miss this vase as it has been "in the family" since 1915. Measurements: 12" H x 4" W. Questions will be answered within 24 hrs. Sometimes people need to see the beauty as I tried to express, but as they say a picture is worth a thousand words, therefore I added a photo with gladiolas. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Vases".
