SIGNED BJORN WIINBLAD CRYSTAL CYLINDER VASE. ENGRAVED ACID ETCHED FEMALE NUDE with FLORA.

This is a delightful thick heavy crystal textured art glass. Vase that shows well and will bring a smile to your face. It features a smooth clear front area with engraved outlines and etched detail of a curvy nude woman amidst varied flora. The rim is cut and bevel edged as is the rounded bottom edge. With its transparency it is difficult to photograph the contrast between the perfectly smooth front into which the figure and decoration has been cut and etched, and the remaining textured sides and back.

9¼" tall, 3" diameter, 3/16" to 5/16" thick, and weighs 3 lbs. It has hand etched 65 3/46/100 markings and the Bjorn Wiinblad signature at the bottom of the face side, and the acid etched Rosenthal R logo on the base. In near mint condition with no chips, knicks, cracks or scratches to the body, and negligible base wear, as shown.
