Pair of Baccarat Cut Crystal Neoclassical Gilt Ram's Head Trumpet Vases C. 1840s Pair of unmarked early Baccarat type cut crystal trumpet vases with neoclassical gilt bronze ram's head mount's on marble bases. Nicely cut with scalloped edge.
Nice ring to the crystal. One has a chip to the top edge of the vase and one of the screws that mount the bronze ormolu to the marble vase has been replaced. This is not visible upon display. Also has some wear and a few fine flakes to the edge of the marble bases. Also has a light ring of haze to the inside of the crystal.
Each vase measures approximately 10" wide x 10 5/8" tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the pieces.
