Huge Antique Pairpoint Glass Luster Vase Raise Diamond ABP Cut Polished Crystal

  

Heres a very large antique Pairpoint Glass, Luster Vase in the Raise Diamond pattern. Aprox 90-100 years old from the 1920s-30s.

This stands 11.5 tall x 10.5 across the flared rim with 16 prisms that dangle 5.5 down. The opening is 5.5 across and is 8.5 deep so this could even be used as a Champagne bucket. This thing is quite substantial and weighs in at 10.5 lbs! Now I believe the prisms to be later replacements based on the other examples Ive shown, also along the circumference of the sharp raised center band (where Im pointing to with a pencil) there is a fair amount of teeny nicks and roughness you cant really see but can feel with your finger.

These nicks coincide with what I believe to have been caused from bumping of the original, longer and sharper prisms, as the ones on there now couldnt have caused the nicks since they just dont reach the same way. Aside from these teeny nicks I found a couple very small areas of roughness where the metal hook goes through the glass hole for the prisms. This is being ultra nit picky now. Theres truely no serious damage or excessive wear, its beautiful. I do want to say however that 2 of the 16 crystals are an inch shorter than the rest so you may need to source a couple to match perfect or just be on a mission for the correct prisms.

Like I said I dont believe they are correct but dont quote me. This also hasnt had a bath in quite a long time. It may look clean in the photo but its pretty dusty.
